Kush Academy Montessori Nursery is set up and ran on the educational principles thrived through Maria Montessori. Children at all levels are nurture based on each child’s individual strengths and interests. Montessori education encourages children to explore their world, and to understand and respect the life forms, systems and forces of which it consists.
We have a high quality standard within a secure, safe, loving and caring environment. We ensure we provide the best childcare for all children in our setting to ensure all areas of learning is covered throughout our baby room toddler room and preschool room.

At Kush, Play Activities are important to healthy development for children. Our Montessori nursery helps every child and encourages them to explore, play and develop independently at their own speed.
We are aware that children learn through play, hence, our strategy “Learn through Play”. We work within the Early Years Statutory Frame Work as we blend our Montessori approach to help support their next milestone to transition into their next stage and all ready for school.

We are a leading nursery for children from the ages of 0 to 5 years. Our theory is to encourage children to become independent learners. This is why at Kush; our children have the opportunity to explore within their environment. We encourage all the children to participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
Children with Special Educational needs are assessed and offered swift intervention to overcome any learning barriers. We work with other professionals to ensure that appropriate support and intervention are given to children and their families.
We are Ofsted Registered and rated good.
